Victoria Launcher for Android

If Niagara Launcher's calm, list-based home screen appeals to you but you'd rather run open-source software, there's a new option worth a look. Victoria Launcher is a free, open-source Android launcher in the Niagara mold: your home screen starts nearly empty, you pin a short list of favorite apps or folders, and everything else lives in an alphabetical app list with an A-Z strip for jumping straight to a letter.

What makes it more than a minimalist clone is how much it packs in. It ships its own clock-and-date widget plus support for any third-party widgets, Now Playing cards inside folders, work profile detection, Android 15 private space support, and deep theming with icon packs, custom fonts, colors, and sizes. The privacy story has real teeth too: no ads, no tracking, and the app doesn't even hold the internet permission. It's young and moving fast, with dozens of releases since its September debut — worth watching if you want your phone to stop interrupting you.
