I scraped 1,385 rhinoplasty deals from Korea's two biggest clinic apps. Here's what a nose job in Seoul actually costs in 2026
Search "Korea plastic surgery cost 2026" and you get dozens of pages that all say roughly the same thing: rhinoplasty is "$2,300–$7,200", "40–70% cheaper than the US", "contact us for a quote". None of them show where the numbers come from.
Koreans don't price-shop that way. They open two apps, Gangnam Unni (강남언니) and Babitalk (바비톡), where every clinic lists its procedures as deals with a price, a discount, a rating and a review count. The same price list is public on the web. So I scraped it.
This is what the listings say, as of early November 2026. All prices are deal prices including VAT, before a consultation, converted at the rate the site itself uses (about 1,340 KRW per USD).
The data
- 773 rhinoplasty deals on Gangnam Unni's Korean catalog (search term 코성형), from 314 clinics
- 542 nose-surgery deals on Babitalk (its 코 category), from 201 clinics
- 70 rhinoplasty deals on Gangnam Unni's English catalog, which is what a foreign patient sees in the app
- As a control, 1,000 double-eyelid deals on Gangnam Unni
Collected with two Apify Actors I wrote, Gangnam Unni Scraper and Babitalk Scraper. No login, no review texts, only the public listing data.
1. The median surgical rhinoplasty deal is 1,590,000 KRW, about $1,180
| Gangnam Unni, Korean catalog (692 surgical deals) | KRW | USD |
|---|---|---|
| 10th percentile | 550,000 | $410 |
| 25th percentile | 960,000 | $715 |
| Median | 1,590,000 | $1,180 |
| 75th percentile | 2,660,000 | $1,980 |
| 90th percentile | 3,300,000 | $2,460 |
Babitalk lands in the same place: median 1,639,000 KRW across 542 deals, 25th–75th percentile 970,000–2,722,500.
That is well under the "$2,300–$7,200" you read on medical-tourism sites. Part of the gap is scope: a deal is often a single procedure (bridge only, tip only), and a consultation adds options. But the headline is still the headline: the price Koreans start from is around $1,200, not $4,000.
Non-surgical "nose" deals (filler, thread lifts, tip botox) are a different market: 81 deals, median 231,000 KRW, about $170.
2. What you are actually paying for
Median deal price by what the title says, Gangnam Unni Korean catalog:
| Procedure | Deals | Median KRW | ~USD |
|---|---|---|---|
| Nose filler (non-surgical) | 20 | 231,000 | $170 |
| Bulbous tip correction (복코) | 89 | 1,419,000 | $1,055 |
| Tip plasty (코끝) | 150 | 1,585,000 | $1,180 |
| Bridge augmentation (콧대) | 124 | 1,590,000 | $1,185 |
| Implant: silicone / Gore-Tex | 101 | 1,639,000 | $1,220 |
| Hump nose (매부리) | 66 | 1,645,000 | $1,225 |
| Revision rhinoplasty (재수술) | 162 | 2,750,000 | $2,045 |
| Rib cartilage (늑연골) | 54 | 2,875,000 | $2,140 |
Two things stand out. Revision surgery is a big category, 162 of 692 surgical deals, nearly a quarter, and it costs about 1.7x a primary procedure. Babitalk shows exactly the same revision median, 2,750,000 KRW across 115 deals, which is a nice sign that both platforms reflect the same underlying price list rather than platform-specific marketing. The most expensive deals in the whole set are contracted-nose reconstructions at 8,800,000–9,900,000 KRW ($6,500–$7,400).
3. It is a Gangnam market
| District (Gangnam Unni, surgical) | Deals | Median KRW |
|---|---|---|
| Gangnam station | 206 | 1,634,000 |
| Sinsa station | 122 | 1,614,500 |
| Apgujeong station | 86 | 1,639,000 |
| Sinnonhyeon station | 85 | 1,500,000 |
| Busan, Seomyeon | 49 | 1,100,000 |
| Nonhyeon station | 31 | 1,639,000 |
86% of the deals are in Seoul and 80% are within the Gangnam cluster (Gangnam, Sinsa, Apgujeong, Sinnonhyeon, Nonhyeon, Yeoksam). Within that cluster prices are flat: every major station has a median between 1.5M and 1.64M KRW. The one real discount is leaving Seoul: Busan's Seomyeon clinics list a median of 1,100,000 KRW, about 30% less, with 49 deals to choose from.
4. Everything is 49% off
64% of rhinoplasty deals show a crossed-out "original" price. Of those, the single most common discount is exactly 49%: 193 of 493 discounted deals. Across a broader sample of 141 discounted deals from every category, 82 were exactly 49% and zero were 50% or more. Korean clinics avoid advertising "50% off", so 49% has become the convention. Treat the strike-through price as decoration and compare deal prices to deal prices.
5. The English catalog is about 2x the Korean one
Gangnam Unni runs separate catalogs per language. The English one has 70 rhinoplasty deals (63 surgical) with prices shown in USD:
| English catalog, surgical | USD |
|---|---|
| 25th percentile | $1,228 |
| Median | $2,455 |
| 75th percentile | $3,195 |
Median $2,455 versus $1,180 on the Korean side. To check that this is not just a different mix of procedures, I matched each English deal to the same clinic's Korean deals: 63 clinics appear in both. The English deal is priced above the clinic's own Korean median in 48 of 63 cases, and the median ratio is 2.0x.
Some of that is real scope. Foreign-patient packages often bundle an interpreter, a longer stay for aftercare and a single all-in price instead of a base price plus options. But a 2x gap at the same clinic is also exactly the "foreigner pricing" that patients complain about on forums, and now it is visible in the listings themselves. If you read Korean, or travel with someone who does, the Korean catalog is where the real prices are.
6. Reviews, ratings and what to ignore
The 773 Korean deals carry 95,841 reviews between them, but the median deal has 12. Review counts concentrate in a handful of clinics: the busiest deal has 11,839 reviews while about 40% of deals have fewer than 5. Ratings are useless for ranking: the median is 9.8 out of 10 and only 6% of rated deals fall below 9. Sort by review count and read the recent ones. Review texts are only visible to logged-in users on both platforms, which is also why this dataset does not contain them.
For comparison, double-eyelid surgery, Korea's highest-volume procedure: 1,000 deals, median 875,500 KRW (about $650), 25th–75th percentile 550,000–1,100,000, with 155,000 reviews behind them.
Caveats
- Deal prices are starting prices. Consultations add options; complicated noses cost more.
- "Rhinoplasty" is whatever the clinic put in the title. I bucketed by Korean keywords, so a deal titled "코끝 + 콧대" counts in both rows.
- This is a snapshot from one week in November 2026. Deals rotate.
- Price is not quality. Revision surgeons charge more for a reason.
