Ask HN: Banned for Reddit Inauthentic Ads?

Has anyone advertised on Reddit?

I wonder if mods are treating their subreddits as their own personal fiefdoms.

I received no reason explaining why I was banned.

It's clear that certain reddits choose to be non-commercial by flagging accounts who have paid for advertising and getting them banned.
